- Scanned vehicle for codes, found none. Test drove vehicle and found the idle to appear slightly higher than normal. Accessed throttle body and found it to be dirty. Cleaned throttle body and reset learned idle speed. All ETC data showing normal at this time. Drove vehicle several times after and have not had any issues. ***No serious damage underneath vehicle. Found splash shield hanging down and some scuffs and scrapes underneath. Front end is tight with no steering issues.Re-secured splash shield to vehicle. *** If erratic idle persists, throttle body may need to be replaced.
